Summary: The revision identifies changes in military organizations, defines special defense utilization of public highways, clarifies signing for convoy movements and removes redundancy between AR 55-152/OPNAVINST 4600.11C/AFR 75-24/MCO 4643.5B/DSAR 4540.8, Permits for Oversize, Overweight, or other Special Military Movements on Public Highways in the United States and AR 55-355 /NAVSUPINST 4600.70/AFM 75-2/MCO P4600.14A/DLAR 4500.3, Military Traffic Management Regulation.

Supplementation: Supplementation of this regulation is permitted but not required. If supplements are issued, Army staff agencies and major commands will furnish two copies of each to the Commander, Military Traffic Management Command, ATTN: MT-SA, WASH DC 20315. Other services/agencies will furnish one copy of each to the next higher headquarters for forwarding to MTMC through appropriate channels.
